Description
I'm David Sibley, author and illustrator of The Sibley Guides and other birds and nature books (and now apps). I have been an avid birdwatcher for most of my life and have been drawing and painting to explore the outdoors. Just observing always leads to new ideas and new discoveries, and one of my greatest satisfactions is learning new things about nature. In my books, I try to share some of that knowledge—as well as the magic and joy I've experienced over the years—to help others gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.
