Description

The Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF) was founded in 1996 as a public non-profit foundation. Our goal at NCF is to contribute to the knowledge and conservation of India's unique wildlife heritage through innovative research and creative solutions. We work in a variety of wildlife habitats – from coral reefs and rainforests to the high mountains of the Himalayas. Here we aim to understand the survival needs of endangered species such as snow leopards and elephants, as well as equally interesting but lesser known wildlife such as corals and spiders. Our research also examines the use of human resources and their impact on wildlife species and ecosystems
