Description

Initiated in 1998 by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society, the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is the first online citizen science (also known as community science) project to collect wild bird data and display results in the near future. . Birds Canada joined the project in 2009 to provide greater capacity to support participation in Canada.
