Early Bird Early Bird

Children have an innate curiosity and wonder about nature that often gets lost with age. How can we encourage and develop this curiosity to create deep and lifelong connections with nature? Birds can be a great starting point for learning about nature because it is beautiful, interesting, and can be found all around us wherever we live. However, there is relatively little material for children to get to know and become enthusiastic about Indian birds and nature. This prompted us to launch Early Bird with an initial focus on developing innovative, high-quality, open and multilingual training tools for budding birders of all ages. On this journey we draw inspiration and ideas from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's K12 program for schools and educators.
