Description

The plane descends through the mass of clouds and the eye sees a clear mosaic of mountains, meadows, windbreaks, roads, settlements and forested canyons. It's surprising how close everything is; The jade cloud forest in the volcano, the cities in the valley, the riverside area formed a green band. You know it's January, but deep down it feels like summer will never end. There are palm trees and a dozen shades of tropical green, black round spots are black vultures. Another much more interesting bird awaits you; Congratulations on arriving in Costa Rica! They made it to tropical latitudes, where the Tennessee Warblers shared a tree with the Baltimore Oriole and Masked Titiras.
