British Garden Birds has grown from a winter day project to study web publishing into a leading and award-winning reference work for the occasional and dedicated gardener, but also for teachers and students.
For each bird species there is:
Identification records, including photographs and voice recordings.
Distribution maps show when and where they are most likely to be found.
Information about their feeding and nesting activities.
Observation of bird behavior.
A brief note on the movement of species such as migration.
Preservation status and any special measures.
